Portable acoustic camera
Designed to measure the sound pressure level of acoustic noise and real-time visualization of the acoustic field in the sound frequency range arising from defects in mechanical equipment.
The aperture of the microphone array is optimized for localizing sounds of mechanical defects occurring at low frequencies.
Non-contact acoustic diagnostics of equipment without having to stop it allows you to control and monitor the technical condition of mechanical equipment during periodic inspections of a group of equipment.
A unique “Mechanics” operating mode for localizing and assessing mechanical defects.
- Precise localization of sound from mechanical defects.
- Evaluation of mechanical defect sound characteristics using two parameters — Acoustic Kurtosis and Acoustic Burst.
- Acoustic Kurtosis (AK) indicates the deviation of peak values of an acoustic signal from a normal distribution; in the absence of pronounced peaks, AK will be close to zero. Typical defects associated with increasing AK include insufficient lubrication or increased wear.
- Acoustic Burst (AB) indicates the presence of impulsive spikes in the envelope of an acoustic signal; in the absence of such spikes, AB will be close to zero. Typical defects associated with increasing AB include lubricant contamination or damage to components.
- Color-coded indication (green, yellow, red) reflecting the increase of the evaluated parameters, with adjustable sensitivity for each parameter.
- Not just see but also hear the defect — connect Bluetooth headphones to the device and listen in real time to the defect sound, cleaned of background noise.
Available in two versions:
- Industrial – Portable multisensor device NAC-PA AMCSh.468266.017
- Explosion proof – Explosion proof portable multisensor device NACEx-PA AMCSh.468266.018
Portable acoustic camera allows you to:
- Detect and localize mechanical anomalies
- Track the dynamics of changes in equipment operation
- Prepare reports based on the results of the analysis
